[ES] El presente artículo ofrece una visión general del cloroplasto en plantas superiores. El conocimiento acerca de la constitución y composición de estos orgnulos celulares, que contienen pigmentos fotosintéticos, ha avanzado considerablemente en los últimos años. Sin embargo, todavía existen lagunas de conocimiento en el estudio de los organismos capaces de generar oxfgeno. Los autores han pretendido reunir y actualizar la información disponible referente a los orgnulos celulares que realizan la fotosíntesis.
[EN] This paper offers an overview of higher plant chloroplasts. Our understanding of constrcction and composition of cellular organelles containing photosynthetic pigments has avanced enormously in recent years. Nevertheless, the information about oxigen evolving organisms already remains incomplete. This article is an attempt to bring together current knowledges of organelles that carry out photosynthesis.
