[EN] The present study includes information on the roya1 privileges granted the inhabitants of Calatordo and on the nobles, the prior and the chapter house of the Church of Santa María la Mayor or Pilar in Zaragoza. A study has been made on the local jurisdiction and on the most outstanding Arab inhabitants, their property and the legacies and rentals they received. Particulars are also given regarding the oven, the mill, the mosque and the cementery, and regarding irngation problems, etc. Finally, the impoverishment of the Aljama and its inhabitants during the second half of the xv century is reviewed. The study is based on public documents executed before notaries living in Zaragoza, Calatayud, Epila and the Almunia de Doña Godina, which are kept in the Archives of Protocolos Notariales of said cities.
[ES] Este estudio recoge noticias sobre privilegios reales concedidos a los vecinos de Calatorao, y sobre sus señores, el prior y capitulo de canónigos de la iglesia de Santa María la Mayor o del Pilar, de Zaragoza; estudia la jurisdicción del lugar y a sus vecinos moros más sobresalientes, sus bienes inmuebles y las comandas y censos que recibieron; y aporta datos sobre el horno, el molino, la mezquita y el cementerio, sobre problemas de riego, etc. Finalmente, estudia el empobrecimiento de la aljama y sus moradores en la segunda mitad del siglo xv. Tiene como base documental los instrumentos públicos otorgados ante notarios que residieron en las ciudades de Zaragoza, Calatayud, Epila y La Almunia de Doña Godina, que se conservan en los Archivos de Protocolos Notariales de dichas ciudades.
