Abstract

Como ofrenda y primera aportación personal ante el inminente centenario de los nacimientos de los Reyes Católicos, presento en estos dos volúmenes algo completamente nuevo en la bibliografía histórica española: una crónica inédita de tan glorioso reinado, que contiene el relato seguido y bastante completo e imparcial de sus empresas, desde la fundación de Santa Fe y asedio de Granada hasta la muerte del Rey, escrita por Alonso de Santa Cruz (1505-1567), bien conocido en la historia de la ciencia geográfica y como cronista del Emperador
