Determinantes sociales de la interrupción del embarazo en España

Abstract

<p>Desde que en 1985 la interrupci&oacute;n del embarazo fue despenalizada en Espa&ntilde;a, las cifras han aumentado ininterrumpidamente. Si el retraso de la maternidad es uno de los rasgos de la fecundidad espa&ntilde;ola, en el aborto ocurre lo contrario: cada vez son m&aacute;s j&oacute;venes las mujeres que se incorporan a esta pr&aacute;ctica. Otro de los rasgos destacables es el incremento de la tasa de reincidencia, as&iacute; como el aumento de las mujeres que sin tener hijos optan por el aborto. Las mujeres no casadas, ocupadas, y sin hijos o solamente con uno, son las que registran mayor incidencia del aborto, pues tales caracter&iacute;sticas se han revelado como los determinantes m&aacute;s claros. As&iacute; como para las mujeres a las que el aborto era una opci&oacute;n ya utilizada anteriormente.</p>
