Osbservaciones absolutas de gravedad en España

Abstract

This work is a cooperation between the Finnish Geodetic Institute of Helsinki and the Institute de Astronomía y Geodesia of Madrid. Absolute gravity was measured at two Spanish stations, Madrid and Valle de los Caídos, with the JILAG-5 gravimeter. Madrid was a typical good station with a stable 1100rand low seismic noise. On the Valle de los Caídos station the seismic noise was low as well but we found some problems with the instability of 1100r. We describe the measurements and results and we discuss the effect of 1100r instability on gravimeter perfomance.
