Els mallorquins a la Mediterrània oriental a l'Edat mitjana

Abstract

Estudia especialmente el comercio con Alejandría y Siria, que sufrió grandes dificultades después de la caida de Acre en poder de los mamelucos (1291), a causa de la prohibición papal de comerciar con ellos. Estudia la época del contrabando hacia Alejandría y de las multas y la época de las licencias papal y real desde 1340 aproximadamente, normalizadas a fines del s. XIV. Analiza la incidencia del corso sobre este comercio y la presencia de corsarios mallorquines en esa ruta.
