Abstract

Compuestos para su uso en el tratamiento y/o prevención de una infección de mycoplasma sp. La presente invención hace referencia a compuestos con capacidad para inhibir la adhesión celular de Mycoplasma sp. a la célula hospedadora para su uso en el tratamiento y/o prevención de una infección de Mycoplasma sp. o una enfermedad asociada a una infección de Mycoplasma sp. en un sujeto, que incluye análogos de olisacáridos sialilados, péptidos que comprenden la secuencia Ser-Phe-ser y/o la secuencia Pro-Ser-Pro-Asn (SEQ ID NO: 2) y anticuerpos contra dichos péptidos. La presente invención también proporciona un método para el cribado de compuestos útiles en el tratamiento y/o prevención de una infección por Mycoplasma sp., en particular, M. genitalium.
