Derivados de Purina inhibidores de CDC7 y su uso para el tratamiento de patologías neurológicas. La presente invención se refiere al uso de una serie de derivados de purina que presentan la siguiente fórmula general: {IMAGEN-01} Y que son capaces de inhibir la actividad de la quinasa CDC7, por lo que resultan útiles para el tratamiento de enfermedades neurológicas tales como la enfermedad de Alzheimer, la esclerosis lateral amiotrófica o la demencia frontotemporal, entre otras, donde se produce una hiperfosforilación de TDP-43 y posterior formación de aglomerados inducida por la CDC7.
