Abstract

Conversor y multiplexor (/demultiplexor) que combina un acoplador de interferencia multimodal (100), al menos un desfasador (200) y una unión Y simétrica (300). Se realiza ingeniería sobre la dispersión del acoplador de interferencia multimodal (100) a través de estructuras sublongitud de onda para conseguir un muy gran ancho de banda. Se presentan varias topologías de desfasadores (200) para un mayor aumento del ancho de banda, así como arquitecturas para multiplexar un mayor número de modos ópticos.
