Demanda de información de la industria española. II.

Abstract

[EN] Journals requested to the Photoduplication Serviee of ICYT by industrial firms in 1982 and 1983 are analyeed. The etudy refers to the five most important industrial sectors: pharmaceutical, chemical, food, metallurgical and electrical industries. Results are compared witb those obtained for researeh centres of CSIC and universitiea. Though, apparently, ICYT library is leas equipped to satisfy industrial demanda, tbis is due to the high number of medical journals requested by the pharmaceutical industry, and non-existent in ICYT library. The age of requested publications is lower for industrial fims, as it eould be expected. With data on informatian demand from researcb centres, universities and industry the list of the 50 most frequently requested journals has been worked out; 70% are in ICYT library.
