[EN]: Evolutionism is not a closed notion. On the contrary, this scientific discipline has experienced some changes. On one hand, it is possible to distinguish nowadays two major trends: Lamarckism and Darwinism. Moreover, the latest has changed since Darwin’s times. This work examines the development of these two major evolutionist theory trends from 19th century to date, making especial emphasis in their importance regarding the study of the human animal, object-subject either in History and Archaeology.
