El Castillejo de Chilla (Candeleda, Ávila): estudio del territorio

Abstract

[EN]: The objective of this research is to include the archaeological site of Castillejo de Chilla in its immediate natural and cultural environment. For this aim we have carried out a series of analysis having considered a series of variables such as level of accessibility, visual control and potential economical orientation, as well as its relation to other surrounding archaeological sites, among which we must highlight the site of Raso de Candeleda and the Sanctuary of Postoloboso. Be means of these analysis we have been able to reach a proposal on the functionality of this site in the frame of the settlement patterns of the region.
