Este artículo revisa dos contextos históricos de la danza contemporánea, el comienzo de la danza posmoderna en Estados Unidos en los años 60 y la danza conceptual en España a partir de los años 2000, entendidos como espacios de investigación y modo de producción de conocimientos prácticos, y poniéndolo en diálogo con la pedagogía radical de John Dewey y diversas corrientes de crítica del conocimiento desde los años sesenta hasta la perspectiva decolonial.
