1939. Exilio republicano español

Abstract

En 2019 se cumplen ochenta años del inicio del exilio republicano. Cerca de medio millón de españoles se vieron obligados a cruzar la frontera por defender la democracia. El Gobierno de España constituyó la Comisión Interministerial con tres objetivos. En primer lugar, realizar un homenaje de Estado a los hombres y mujeres que debieron abandonar nuestro país. En segundo lugar, acercar y sensibilizar a la ciudadanía de la relevancia de este exilio. Finalmente, extender nuestro agradecimiento a aquellos países que recibieron este exilio, profundamente desamparado y perseguido.
