Abstract

La filosofía de Kant, lejos de convertirse en un reducto ininteligible solo apto para especialistas, muestra su vitalidad y su cercanía en debates tan decisivos como este, en el que se pone en juego la posibilidad y alcance de nuestra vida común. Filósofos de la talla de Nuria Sánchez Madrid, Roberto Rodríguez Aramayo, José Luis Villacañas, Carlos Mendiola Mejía o Ángel Octavio Álvarez Solís dan certera cuenta de ello.

Preguntas tales como ¿qué se comparte en la comunidad?, ¿cómo podemos proponer un proyecto ideal de comunidad? o, en pocas palabras, ¿cómo puede haber comunidad, cuando la unión entre los ciudadanos es tan frágil?, se suscitan en todos los debates políticos de actualidad.

Los ensayos que componen este libro se preguntan por el sentido de la comunidad a partir de ciertos textos de Kant. No se trata, por tanto, de hacer mera exégesis textual, sino de cuestionarse la cosa misma de la sociedad política.
