Abstract

[EN] In 2009 residents of the Vall de Siarb reported to the High Mountain Archeology Group (GAAM) of the UAB-CSIC the discovery of lithic remains, ceramics and some human bone fragment in a cave. In the year 2017 GAAM members completed the topography of the cave, a systematic collection of surface material and the realization of a stratigraphic test pit in order to evaluate the archaeological potential of the cave. The excavation allowed to confirm the existence of archaeological deposits and stopped at a level with a high density of disarticulated human bone remains. This article summarizes the information obtained, as well as the chronology of the human remains, which is located in the middle of the II Millennium calBC.
