Efectos de las cabras Cimarronas (Capra hircus L.) en la flora endémica de los pinares de Pajonales, Ojeda e Inagua (Gran Canaria)

Abstract

The impact of feral goats on the autochthonous vegetation of the pine forest of Pajonales, Ojeda e Inagua (Gran Canaria) has been studied. A total of 24 species of phanerogams have been found be affected, 14 of wich are enedemic to Gran Canaria (58,45), 4 to the Canary Archipelago (20,09%) and 2 to the Nacaronesia (8,3%) with an Additional 2 taxons having a wider distribution and 1 possessing an uncertain taxonomic status.

Se estudia el impacto de las cabras cimarronas en la vegetación de los montes de Pajonales, Ojeda e Inagua (Gran Canaria), detectándose 24 especies de fanerógamas afectadas, de las cuales 14 son endémicas de Gran Canaria (58,4%), 4 endémicas del Archipiélago Canario (20,8%), 2 endémicas de Macaronesia (8,3%), 2 presentan una distribución más amplia y 1 posee un rango taxonómico dudosao.
