Astronomía mamarracha: why not?

Abstract

En el año 2015, Manuel González participó en el concurso de monólogos científicos Famelab mezclando copla y astronomía, creando un subgénero que él mismo denominó Astrocopla. Ese mismo año, él y Natalia Ruiz presentaron un espectáculo de cabaret coplero en el evento de divulgación Naukas, celebrado en Bilbao. En él, hablaban de los distintos rangos de la luz con canciones de Lola Flores y Rocío Jurado fingiendo un duelo entre dos rangos del espectro electromagnético. Fue el comienzo de un camino juntos que les ha llevado a contar y cantar astronomía con canciones de Raphael y Raffaella Carrá (contando la historia del universo desde el Big Bang hasta su expansión), con temas famosos de las bandas sonoras de Disney y sus princesas (hablando de los instrumentos españoles en astronomía más destacados) y, por último, dadas las circunstancias de confinamiento por la situación de pandemia, a la coorganización de un festival online de ¿Eurovisión¿ (CienciaVisión2020) en el que se hablaba de todo tipo de ciencia (ellos aportaron la parte astronómica cantando sobre polvo cósmico y materia oscura). Nunca la astronomía fue tan mamarracha. Y los autores se preguntan, ¿por qué no?
