[ES] La reflexión en torno al cuerpo como elemento sociocultural clave debe cuestionar el esencialismo en la atribución de las capacidades funcionales, notando que el primer paso para caer bajo una “mirada capacitista” es precisamente definir y asumir un conjunto previo de capacidades inherentes atribuibles al cuerpo. La mirada capacitista no es otra cosa que la multitud de prácticas y representaciones que a nivel funcional participan en la producción del cuerpo normativo y su carácter regulador como “norma” y criterio de “normalidad”.
