EUROBENCH: El primer centro Europeo de Valoración, Entrenamiento, Educación y Estandarización de Robótica de Rehabilitación

Abstract

El Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) está actualmente liderando el proyecto europeo “EUROBENCH: European Robotic framework for bipedal locomotion benchmarking”. Con más de 8 millones de financiación, el proyecto tiene como objetivo principal crear un marco metodológico y experimental para la evaluación de las habilidades de los sistemas robóticos de rehabilitación de una manera rigurosa, cuantitativa y repetible. Entre los objetivos del proyecto está la creación de un centro internacional que concentrará las más avanzadas tecnologías de medida y valoración disponibles hoy en día. Este centro, el primero en Europa, permitirá dar vida a un modelo de negocio auto-sostenible dirigido a un amplio abanico de usuarios, como empresas tecnológicas, instituciones de salud, universidades, colectivos científicos, organismos de certificación y organizaciones nacionales y europeos.
