La Internacional del Crimen: por una arqueología de la literatura policial socialista en Europa y América Latina

Abstract

Se ofrece en esta contribución una síntesis de las investigaciones que actualmente estoy desarrollando en torno al género que podríamos denominar como “literatura policial socialista”, y en las que colaboro con otros colegas. Dos son los objetivos esenciales perseguidos: 1. Llevar a cabo una revisión internacional del perfil literario de esta vertiente del género policial en el contexto histórico de la Guerra Fría. De este modo, nos interesaremos por definir sus características comunes, trazar un panorama de obras y autores significativos, y por indagar en su génesis y devenir. 2. Asimismo, y más allá del estudio inmanentemente literario, revisaremos cómo este tipo de creaciones operaron como una herramienta a través de la que reforzar los diálogos (político)culturales entre las comunidades letradas de países socialistas. En suma, tenemos por delante (ya que se trata de una investigación en proceso) la tarea de definir las claves internas que otorgan unidad a este género propio de la República Socialista de las Letras, revisar las particularidades de sus expresiones nacionales en países como Cuba, URSS, Bulgaria o Checoslovaquia, entre otros, al tiempo que la consideramos como un dispositivo ideológico que jugó un papel relevante en un nivel político-cultural dentro de los respectivos campos culturales nacionales y en las relaciones de los países socialistas entre sí
