Notas sobre la prensa cultural madrileña (1801-1808)

Este capítulo tiene como objetivo presentar la prensa cultural madrileña que vio la luz entre 1801 y 1808 (seis periódicos en total). Además de una ficha bibliográfica detallada de cada uno de esas cabeceras y de los avatares de su publicación, presenta, muy sintéticamente, la línea editorial de cada periódico, así como algunos datos biográficos y el pensamiento político y literario de los principales periodistas. Se ofrece, así, de manera agrupada y clara una necesaria información propedéutica para una investigación posterior sobre el debate político, cultural o literario de aquellos años cruciales.
