La corrosión bajo tensión (CBT) es un fenómeno por el cual materiales dúctiles, cuando son expuestos a ciertos ambientes bajo tensiones de tracción, presentan un comportamiento frágil, rompiendo a tensiones inferiores a la de fractura.
