Abstract

De los 5 sentidos, el olfato es el más desconocido y, en ocasiones, incluso el más olvidado, hasta que lo perdemos, afectando a nuestro día a día de forma inimaginable. Es el sentido primero y más directo, el camino más corto a las emociones, evocando recuerdos y tiempos pasados. Hasta la aparición del COVID-19, “anosmia” era un término desconocido. Hoy en día ha cambiado la percepción de la importancia del olfato en nuestras vidas cuando lo perdemos.
