Sobre la presencia de Gallotria stehlini en la Isla de Fuerteventura (Canarias) y datos preliminares de su alimentación

presence of gallotia stehlini on Fuerteventura island (Canary islands) and feeding preliminary data. In this paper we describe the presence of a new population of Gallotia stehlini in Fuerteventura addending the first data about the food spectrum. The 99% of the analized dropping included vegetal material, and the 57% shown several fragments of animals.

En el presente trabajo se cita la presencia de Gallotia stehlini en una nueva localidad de Fuerteventura, aportándose además los primeros datos sobre su dieta. La especie muestra una omnivoría bastante acusada ya que el 99% de los excrementos analizados contenían materia vegetal y el 57% presentaron divesos restos animales.
