¿Cómo explicar la molécula de ARN que contiene la primera vacuna COVID-19 con piezas de TENTE?

Abstract

Con motivo de la autorización en Europa de la primera vacuna contra la COVID-19, desarrollada por las empresas Pfizer/BioNtech, he grabado un nuevo vídeo de divulgación científica de la serie BIOTENTE en el que explico, con piezas del juego de construcción TENTE, cómo es la molécula de ARN mensajero con la información genética para fabricar la glicoproteína S (de la espícula del coronavirus) y todas las modificaciones que contiene. Para completar la información visual y simplificada que se ofrece en este vídeo os invito a leer la entrada anterior de este blog en la que explico, con todo detalle, todas las modificaciones que incluye la molécula de ARN mensajero que incluye esta primera vacuna contra la pandemia COVID-19 causada por el coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Este es el undécimo vídeo de divulgación de la lista BIOTENTE en la que he ido describiendo, de forma sencilla, diferentes conceptos de la genética para poner esta disciplina al alcance de todo el mundo.
