Abstract

Se recogen aquí los “Prólogos al lector” correspondientes a los cuatro primeros volúmenes del Libro de Tonos Humanos, a los dos primeros del Cancionero Poético-Musical Hispánico de Lisboa y al volumen único del Manojuelo Poético-Musical de Nueva York. Hemos querido reunirlos en un solo documento por orden cronológico de aparición, para que el lector pueda, si así lo desea, acompañarnos en la exposición de nuestro proyecto editorial de carácter interdisciplinario y en los diversos avatares que se han sucedido en el tiempo y han ido jalonando nuestro trabajo, que no es otro que la edición crítica de los cancioneros, recopilaciones o misceláneas poético-musicales del período comprendido entre las últimas décadas del siglo XVI y las primeras del XVIII. Estos prólogos recogen los parámetros más importantes de las obras estudiadas en cada volumen, las circunstancias académicas e institucionales que han acompañado la preparación de cada edición, así como la justificación de la aparición de la siguiente. En su redacción se ha intentado mantener un hilo conductor en sus contenidos y cuidar un estilo formal unitario a fin de que su lectura global resulte coherente y agradable.
