Abstract

[EN] This paper analyses the participation of some exiled Spanish Republican artists in the festival ‘La Quinzaine de l’art espagnol ’, held at the Galerie Charpentier’s in Paris under the German Occupation. It was organised with the support of the Vichy government, Franco’s Foreign Affairs and the Spanish Falange, among others of the Vichy government, Franco’s Foreign Affairs and the Spanish Falange, among others.

[FR] Cet article analyse la participation des artistes républicains exilés au festival La Quinzaine de l’art espagnol, organisé dans la Galerie Charpentier à Paris pendant l’Occupation allemande avec la collaboration des autorités de Vichy, le Service des affaires étrangères de l’Espagne de Franco et la Phalange espagnole.

[ES] Este artículo analiza la participación de artistas republicanos exiliados en el festival La Quinzaine de l’art espagnol, organizado en la Galerie Charpentier de París durante la Ocupación alemana, con la colaboración de las autoridades de Vichy, el Servicio Exterior de la España franquista y Falange Española.

Este estudio se ha realizado en el marco del proyecto de investigación "50 años de arte en el Siglo de Plata español (1931-1981)" (HAR2014-53871-P).
