An analytical method for tin and aluminum determination in zinc, based on flameless atomic absorption spectroscopy, has been developed. Preparation of the test solutions is described and the most adequate system is selected. Furnace programs are established depending on the element to be analysed, the matrix, and the preparation of the test solution. Finally, calibration curves and determinable minimum concentration levels are verified.
