En la zona considerara, hacia el norte (a la altura de Cabiño) las isotermas se encuentran muy póximas a la costa. Precisamente el recorrido del barco, paralelo a la misma en esta zona, auqnue no fue bueno por no ser bidimensional, permiti`´o mostrar que era una zona de afloramiento débil (Zona A), ya que en esta zona se hallaron temperaturas relativamente altas cerca de la costa.
