[ES]: Se presenta la evolución del poblamiento en la cuenca del Ardila (afluente del Guadiana) desde finales de la Edad del Hierro hasta la definitiva implantación romana en época de Augusto, así como una reflexión sobre la posible organización administrativa de esta comarca en cronologías Julio-Claudias.

[EN]: The settlement evolution in the Ardila River Basin (tributary of Guadiana River) since the Final Iron Age to the definitive roman establishment in Augustus era is presented. Besides, the possible administrative organization for this region in Julius-Claudius period is discussed.
