[EN] This work summarizes the conchological and anatomical study of the especies: Ponentina ponentina (MORELET, 1845) and Euomphalia (Mengoana) brigantina (DA SILVA MENGO, 1867). They are the only representatives of the genera in the province of León (N.W. Spain). Furthermore, their distribution in the province is given, as well as, edaphological, phytosociological and other dates about the altitude of the places where the molluscs were collected, together with their map references (using the scale of 1/200.000 on the U.T.M. system.). At the same time, the molluscs were examined for the existence of trematoda.

[ES] Se estudian conquiológica y anatómicamente Ponentina ponentina (MORELET, 1845) y Euomphalia (Mengoana) brigantina (DA SILVA MENGO, 1867), únicas representantes de los respectivos géneros en León, con su distribución en la provincia, aportando datos edáficos, fitosociológicos y de altitud de los puntos de recogida, así como las coordenadas de los mismos siguiendo el sistema U.T.M. escala 1/200.000. Al mismo tiempo, los moluscos fueron examinados para detectar la presencia de trematodos.
