Tratamientos foliares para la corrección de la clorosis férrica

Abstract

Aunque existen diversos productos correctores de la clorosis férrica, el elevado coste de la corrección justifica el hecho de que se siga investigando el uso de otros productos que ayuden a solucionar este problema. Desde que se empezó a tratar de corregir la clorosis se vienen realizando pulverizaciones sobre follaje. Estas pulverizaciones son relativamente eficaces, ya que hacen reverdecer las hojas cloróticas, pero presentan algunos inconvenientes, según la información disponible hasta el momento, como quemaduras en las hojas y reverdecimiento de las hojas en manchas que corresponden a los puntos de impacto de la solución. Además, parece que no producen ningún efecto sobre las hojas que nacen después de la pulverización. El objetivo del trabajo es estudiar los efectos de la aplicación foliar de varios productos, añadidos con el fin de movilizar y/o incrementar la cantidad de hierro en las hojas en casos de clorosis férrica. En esta línea, en el presente trabajo se han utilizado productos ácidos con el fin de producir la movilización del hierro que pudiera estar inmovilizado en la hoja, y productos conteniendo hierro cuyo fin es aumentar el contenido de este elemento en los tejidos foliares.
