Abstract

Este pequeño trabajo formará parte de la tesis doctoral que estoy realizando sobre el traje y la apariencia en Aragón en la Edad Moderna. Desde mediados del siglo XVII el traje a la española dejó de dominar los hábitos indumentarios de las cortes europeas. El desarrollo de modas particulares en las diferentes cortes y la difusión de la moda de la corte de Versalles relegaron al traje español a un segundo plano. La corte española no fue ajena a las influencias francesas. España comenzó a recibir influjos franceses desde la penúltima década del siglo XVII. Y estas pequeñas incursiones se consolidaron durante el reinado de Felipe V, por razones obvias. Esta comunicación tiene varios objetivos. Estudiar la llegada de las primeras influencias y la consolidación del traje francés en la sociedad española. Conocer quiénes lucieron el traje a la francesa , y cómo estos individuos se significaron socialmente con el nuevo vestido. No se puede olvidar que para el ser humano el traje era un protector de los agentes atmosféricos, pero también un aliado a la hora de transmitir condición social y nivel de riqueza. Todo esto acomodado a las dos ciudades del Reino de Aragón en las que sitúo espacialmente mi tesis doctoral: Zaragoza, capital del Reino, y Alcañiz, ciudad más periférica.
