[FR] On a trouvé Goussia carpelli en tant que parasite dans l’intestin et la vésicule biliaire de Cyprinus carpio, de Carassius carassius et de Barbas barbas bocagei et, moins fréquemment, de Leuciscus cephalus cabeda et de Chondrostoma polylepis de la rivière Esla. La coccidie a déjà été décrite et des données sur sa prédominance, son intensité et sa pathogénie sont fournies. Dans des sections histologiques on a découvert des oocystes dans le tissu lamineux (Lamina propria) ou dans la submuqueuse. Nous n’avons observé ni un modèle saisonnier précis ni une influence du sexe de l’hôte sur les infections. Nous avons au contraire constaté une tendance à la baisse dans la prédominance en fonction de l’âge de l’hôte.

[EN] Goussia carpelli was found parasitizing the intestine and gall bladder of Cyprinus carpio, Carassius carassius and Barbus barbus bocagei, and less frequently Leuciscus cephalus cabeda and Chondrostoma polylepis, from the Esla River. The coccidian is described and data on its prevalence, intensity and pathogenicity are given. In histological sections, the oocysts were detected in the lamina propria or submucosa. We did not observe a clear seasonal pattern nor an influence of the host sex on the infections. On the contrary, there was a tendency to a decrease in the prevalence with the age of the host.

[GE] Goussia carpelli wurde als Parasit in den Eingeweiden und der Gallenblase von Cyprinus carpio, Carassius carassius und Barbus barbus bocagei, seltener von Leuciscus cephalus cabeda und Chondrostoma polylepis, aus dem Eslafluß gefunden. In histologischen Schnitten wurden die Oozysten in der Lamina propria oder in der Unterschleimhaut gefunden. Wir konnten weder eine klare jahreszeitlich bedingte Verteilung noch einen Einfluß des Wirtsgeschlechts auf die Infektionen ermitteln. Dagegen nahm die Befallsquote mit der Zunahme des Alters der Wirtsfische ab.
