Análisis de la peligrosidad frente a los movimientos de ladera en la Cuenca de Loja (Ecuador)

Abstract

Se realizó el análisis detallado de cuatro movimientos de ladera a fin de conocer sus características geotécnicas y la cinemática de los mismos, aplicando diferentes técnicas como: métodos geodésicos (DGPS), geofísicos (ERT), geotécnicos y mineralógicos. Esto ha permitido extraer información fiable sobre los materiales implicados en los planos de deslizamiento, composición mineralógica de esos materiales, profundidades, y velocidades de desplazamiento. Los resultados obtenidos de la susceptibilidad se validaron independientemente utilizando un inventario de test, que no se involucró en el análisis de susceptibilidad, e igualmente comprobando su grado de ajuste, validaciones que arrojaron resultados favorables para ambos métodos. Estos resultados permitieron establecer los factores condicionantes cuyas combinaciones dan mejores predicciones de susceptibilidad. Dichos factores son la litología, la pendiente, el relieve, las fallas, el índice de posición topográfica (TPI) y el uso del suelo, para los dos métodos aplicados.
