Abstract

[EN] Six species of Dactylogyride were found on the gills of various Cyprinids and one Centrarchid, caught in rivers of the Duero basin: Dactylogyrus bocageii n. sp., from Barbus barbus bocagei, which can be differentiated from the near species firstly in the copulatory organ. D. polylepidis n. sp., from Chondrostoma polylepis polylepis and Leuciscus cephalus cabeda, which shows intermediate features between D. vistulae and D. similis. D. cordus, from L. cephalus cabeda, and Urocleidus principalis, acclimatized in our rivers with its host, Micropterus salmoides, are redescribed. The last two Dactylogyrids mentioned are new findings for the Iberian Peninsula. Data are given about the distribution and morphology of D. ergensi, found on C. polylepis polylepis, L. cephalus cabeda and Rutilus arcasi, and D. inexpectatus, a parasite of Carassius carassius.
