Abstract

A principios del mes de noviembre la Unidad de Coordinación de Bibliotecas del CSIC puso en funcionamiento una nueva herramienta 2.0: twitter. A pesar de tener tantos usos como usuarios esta aplicación online, aquí se entiende como un sistema de anuncio rápido y directo de información del blog ECo (Espacio de Comunicación) y de la web principal de la Red de Bibliotecas del CSIC. Por medio de este servicio de microblogging (escribir ideas-posts/tweets breves, no más de 140 caracteres) se abre un nuevo canal de comunicación con noticias de interés, incidencias, conferencias, exposiciones,… que no pretende sustituir a la lista de bibliotecas.
