Uso de los instrumentos líticos tallados: apuntes para una interpretación socio-económica a partir de los procesos productivos registrados

Abstract

Durante el IV milenio, la forma de asentamiento humano en la zona occidental de Andalucía se caracteriza por tratarse de grupos humanos amplios con una importante capacidad de almacenaje y representada esencialmente por los “Campos de Silos” . En este capítulo se presentan los resultados del análisis traceológico aplicado a los instrumentos de trabajo -como medios de producción- de sílex tallados y recuperados en los silos excavados en La Esparragosa. Como se puede observar, estos instrumentos se usaron para realizar diversas actividades económicas que sirvieron como sustento de esos grupos humanos que ocuparon este sitio costero en el IV milenio a.n.e. Así pues, se han registrado instrumentos para explotar recursos vegetales, minerales y animales. Entre estos últimos destacan los instrumentos dedicados al procesado de limpieza, y fileteado de pescado que muestran como este recurso jugó un papel muy importante para los habitantes de La Esparragosa en este periodo de la Prehistoria.
