Las revistas científicas constituyen actualmente los canales formales más importantes para la divulgación y el registro del conocimiento científico. Alrededor de este tipo de publicaciones, a su vez, han florecido una gran cantidad de herramientas, plataformas e instrumentos que ofrecen algún tipo de servicio relacionado con la explotación de la información que se deriva de su actividad. Este artículo pretende repasar algunos de estos recursos desde la perspectiva temática del área de textiles y de sus áreas relacionadas con el objetivo de facilitar la labor de una persona investigadora tanto en su faceta de consumidor como de productor de información. Scientific journals are currently the most important formal channels for the dissemination and recording of scientific knowledge. Around this type of publication have emerged a large number of tools, platforms and instruments that offer some kind of services related to the exploitation of the information derived from their activity. This article aims to review some of these resources from the thematic perspective of the textile area and its related areas with the objective of facilitating the work of a researcher both in his role as consumer and producer of information.
