[EN] Jacob Saiiu published between 1866 and 1874 his work Eben Sufir, an essential work for knowing the oriental Jewish wmmunities of the 19th century. In the chapter titled >>>n igvn he offers a list of plene and defective, with some masoretic notes and readings of otber model codices. Iu this article we study the readings attributed to the codex Hilleli wben quoted as different from the Yemshalmi codex and we analize them in the ligbt of MWu! $ay, Ginsburg, 44a, B.19a of Leningrad and the Rabbinic Bible of Ben Hayyim. Tbese are the most important conclusions: the close agreement among the sources and among the manuscripts, with the exceptiou of B19a, that offers a major degree of disagreement, the proximity of the wiiated texts to the Yemshalmi cadex and the high degree of agreement between 44a and tbe readings attributed bv Saiii to the codex Hillelí. Here we bave a new exam~lec oniirmine u the textual quality of tbe Sephardic codices.
