Abstract

[ES]: En 1951 se publicó en la revista Arbor (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) un número extraordinario dedicado al “problema de la Evolución Biológica>. El autor de uno de los artículos fue Bermudo Meléndez que en 1966 formaría parte, junto con Miquel Crusafont y Emiliano Aguirre, del equipo de editores de la obra La Evolución que en dicho año publicaría la Biblioteca de Autores Cristianos (BAC). El objetivo fundamental del presente estudio es conocer las posibles conexiones entre ambas publicaciones y, entre otras cuestiones, si puede considerarse la una un antecedente de la otra.

[EN]: In 1951 an extraordinary number dedicated to the >problem of biological evolution> was published in the Arbor magazine. The author of one of the articles was Bermudo Meléndez, who in 1966 would be part, together with Miquel Crusafont and Emiliano Aguirre, of the team of editors of the work The Evolution that in that year published the Library of Christian Authors (BAC). The main objective of the present study is to know the possible connections between the two publications and, among other things, if it can be considered an antecedent one of the other
