Los orígenes de la arqueología universitaria en Galicia

[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer una breve síntesis de los aspectos organizativos y la investigación arqueológica en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, desde la creación de la Sección de Historia (1922) hasta la dotación de la primera cátedra de Arqueología (1980). Se exponen las causas y consecuencias de la lenta consolidación de la arqueología universitaria en Galicia.

[EN] The aim of this paper is to give an outline of organizative aspects and archaeological research in the University of Santiago de Compostela, from the creation of the History Secstion (1992). Reasons and consecuences of the slow consolidation of universitary archaeology in Galicia are also considered.
