[EN]The archaeological analysis of the Sé de Viseu aims to add new information to the late antique and early medieval history of this city, which has been traditionally written according to written records. This first stage has carried out the study of the southern and eastern walls surrounding the cathedral, commonly known as Varanda dos Conégos. A new drawing survey together with a standing building recording of the external walls have been done. First results are here exposed, expecting to be enlarged in future works [ES]El análisis arqueológico del conjunto de la Sé de Viseu pretende aportar nueva información para el conocimiento de la historia tardoantigua y altomedieval de esta ciudad, escrita tradicionalmente desde las fuentes documentales. Esta primera fase ha afrontado el estudio de los alzados meridional y oriental que rodean el gran conjunto catedralicio, cono-cidos como la Varanda dos Conégos. Se ha realizado, para ello, una planimetría actualizada y la lectura muraria de los paramentos exteriores. Se presentan aquí los primeros resultados, los cuales esperamos puedan completarse en labores sucesivas
