TelQuel: una fuente contemporánea para el estudio del árabe marroquí

Abstract

TelQuel es una revista semanal francófona que empieza a publicarse en Marruecos a principios del siglo XXI. Se trata de un semanal que se define como políticamente independiente y se caracteriza por tratar asuntos de actualidad y, en ocasiones, temas tabú para la sociedad marroquí. La idea de analizar el árabe marroquí utilizado por TelQuel surgió al descubrir cierto uso del dialecto árabe en reportajes de la revista. Al principio, la recopilación de términos marroquíes se restringía a unos pocos préstamos, pero poco a poco se convirtieron en una cantidad de datos considerable que permitían una descripción. Este trabajo pretende mostrar las convenciones adoptadas por la revista para transcribir el árabe marroquí. Por otro lado, se intentará describir, en la medida de lo posible, el dialecto utilizado en la revista, para concluir con algunas reflexiones sobre las razones que pueden motivar el uso del árabe vernáculo de Marruecos en un texto francófono.
