Abstract

[EN] The "llibres d'acordament" (crew enrolment registers) are a documentary source that is only preserved in the archives of the former Crown of Aragon. Through the analysis of the data that they list for each of the recruited members, the solidarity networks created between crew members emerge, but also between crew members and their contacts on land. This study not only illustrates them, but also raises new perspectives for future research based on this extraordinary source.
