Abstract

Con el lema 'no nos vamos, nos echan', los jóvenes emigrantes españoles han desarrollado un discurso que enlaza su situación actual con la emigración económica española durante la dictadura franquista, enfatizando en su condición forzada. En este artículo se analizan los discursos sobre el 'exilio económico' como resultado de la crisis financiera de 2008 a través de tres obras recientes: el documental 'En tierra extraña' (2014) de Icíar Bollaín, la comedia 'Perdiendo el norte' (2015) de Nacho G. Velilla, y el cómic 'Leaving Spain' (2015) de Óscar Ibáñez. Arguyo que en estas obras el marco mnemónico ayuda a definir las identidades nuevamente adquiridas, por una parte por medio de una modelidad nostálgica y estereotipificada, por otra parte una modelidad política y reivindicativa, ambas reminiscentes de las narrativas producidas por los exilios y emigraciones españolas anteriores. Una vertiente importante en estos trabajos es precisamente la politización de lo económico y con ello, la recuperación de la memoria de la emigración de los años 60 y 70 dentro del marco de la historia del exilio español
