Abstract

Las aminas aromáticas han adquirido especial interés en los últimos años debido a sus múltiples usos en la industria química en general. La obtención típica de estos compuestos consiste en la reducción de un grupo nitro precursor para formar la respectiva amina. Es por esto que la catálisis heterogénea se ha trasformado en una excelente herramienta en dicha producción debido a la alta pureza y selectividad que presentan algunas fases activas en estos procesos, siendo los metales nobles los más representativos. En este trabajo se ha estudiado la hidrogenación de nitroarenos sobre los catalizadores de Au preparados al 1% en carga metálica, obtenidos por impregnación y calcinación-reducción del precursor usando como soporte de la fase activa TiO2 anatasa. Estos sistemas se caracterizaron por TPR, DRX, TEM, y XPS y en todos ellos se evaluó la hidrogenación catalítica en un reactor batch tipo Parr a 10 atm de presión total de H2. Estudios por UV vis-RD mostró que las partículas de oro en el catalizador son esféricas debido a la banda de absorción centrada a 550 nm. A través de estudio experimental y computacional se demostró que el Au se encuentra esencialmente en estado reducido.
