Abstract

[EN] The article below presents the research and cultural work that Telesforo de Aranzadi, compulsory figure of reference in the history of Basque and Spanish Anthropology, did in Barcelona. In spite of his strong ties to his birthplace, Aranzadi stayed in Barcelona, for professional reasons, from 1899 to 1945, the year of his death. During this time he carried out some outstanding scientific work which had important repercussions in intellectual circles of the time.

[EU] Artikulu honetan Euskal Herriko eta Espainiako Antropologian ezin ahaztuzkoa den Telesforo de Aranzadik Bartzelonan garaturiko ikerlanak eta kultur iharduera aurkezten dira. Bere sorterriari guztiz atxikia izan arren, lanbide arrazoiak zirela eta, Aranzadik konde-hiri hartan bizi izan zen 1899tik 1945era, azken data honetan hil zelarik. Bertan, garaiko intelektualen artean garrantzizko oihartzunak izan zituen zientzi iharduera nabarmena garatu zuen.
