Abstract

La sociedad de Antiguo Régimen se caracteriza por la desigualdad aceptada como norma de convivencia. Las transformaciones que operan en el seno de las familias durante los años finales del siglo XVI y la primera mitad del XIX permiten observar la pervivencia de estos elementos aunque bajo prismas cambiantes. Es precisamente en el mundo rural donde más resistencias al cambio se dan. Una de las fuentes más interesantes para acercarnos al problema la constituyen los pleitos y expedientes judiciales.

Este trabajo se desarrolla en el marco del proyecto de investigación HAR2010- 21325-C05-04, CICLO VITAL, FAMILIAS Y COMUNIDADES EN EL OCASO DEL COMUNITARISMO. CRISIS Y ADAPTACIONES DEL MUNDO RURAL HISPANO EN UNA EPOCA DE CAMBIO (EXTREMADURA , 1700-1868). Cuenta, además, con el apoyo del grupo de investigación GEHSOMP.

Textos de comunicaciones defendidas en la XIII Reunión Científica de la Fundación Española de Historia Moderna, previa evaluación ciega por pares.
